UFE APA (Academic Publication Assistance) Program:

A collaborative platform for research writing and international publication

Overview

The APA (Academic Publication Assistance) Program aims to support graduate students, lecturers, and professors in studying and publishing academic papers on development issues in Mongolia. To achieve this goal, the APA Program provides a structured, year-long mentoring program that guides participants through the entire research and publication process — from topic selection to paper submission.

The APAP offers a comprehensive range of resources and support services. These include:

  • Access to academic databases and international journals.
  • Guidance on selecting appropriate research topics and designs.
  • Assistance with data collection, analysis, manuscript drafting, and submission.
  • Workshops and seminars on academic writing, research design, and publishing.

Through this structured framework, participants will develop the necessary skills and knowledge to produce high-quality research papers that meet international academic standards.

Mentorship System

The mentorship component of the APAP ensures personalized and consistent academic guidance throughout the year.
Each participant is paired with a dedicated academic mentor according to research field and topic relevance.

Mentor Roles

  • Provide academic advice on topic development, theoretical framing, and methodology.
  • Offer continuous feedback on data analysis, writing, and manuscript improvement.
  • Support revision and submission to appropriate international journals.

Mentoring Format

  • Monthly one-on-one consultations for personalized guidance and progress tracking.
  • Quarterly evaluation sessions by the APAP committee.
  • Peer-group mentoring sessions for collaborative learning and discussion.

This dual mentoring system—combining individual mentorship and collective peer exchange—ensures continuous academic development, accountability, and professional growth throughout the year.
